Kitchen Cabinets

I built all of the cabinetry for our new house (with the exception of the countertop work, we had that contracted due to time constraints). Cabinets included the kitchen, desk area, bar, master suite and upstairs bath.
Kitchen Cabinets
The cabinet construction consists of 3/4" Birch Plywood with a clear Polyurethane finish on the interior. The Rail and Stile doors and drawer fronts were built using 3/4" thick solid Clear Pine with 1/4" thick Knotty Pine panels. For the cabinet on the far left, used for glassware storage, I installed glass in the doors. There are two doors on this cabinet for access from the kitchen or from the dining area. There's plenty of storage between the upper and lower cabinets in this kitchen.

Sink and Dishwasher views
The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas separated by a half-wall with a 45° angle for the double sink. The dishwasher was also raised for easier access.

Refrigerator cabinets and Desk cabinets
There's cabinetry around the refrigerator and leading out of the kitchen is a desk area. The cabinet to the right of the refrigerator has adjustable shelving.

Desk area
This view of the desk area shows the ample storage. The desk includes two file drawers and four regular drawers. Above the desk are two side cabinets with adjustable shelves and mail cubbies with two small pull-out drawers.

Glassware cabinet
This is a view of the cabinets from the dining area. The cabinet on the left also has glass doors to match.

Master Suite coffee bar
This cabinet leads into our Master Suite and is used as a coffee bar/stereo cabinet. I built the upper cabinet with adjustable glass shelves and glass panel doors. There's lots of storage room on the lower cabinet.
