Welcome to my Projects Page!
This page is devoted to a few of my past projects. I have had the opportunity of custom building projects for
home use as well as for friends and family. The following projects are ones which I was able to document during the
construction process. I need to learn to be more consistant at this as there are several other projects that I didn't
take pictures as I went along.

This wall mounted display shelf was built for a friend last month (05/08). It's constructed of solid 3/4" Red Oak
with Oak Shaker Pegs. The three adjustable shelves are also solid Oak. The shelf was stained using
a Minwax Natural Stain. Click on the image to view more details on the project.

This was a rather large and extensive project. I built all of the cabinetry for our new house which we began in 2000.
My wife and I decided that we were "handy" enough that we could put a lot of "sweat equity" into it. We are and we did. Still
sweating to this day. I had a full-time job so finishing the cabinets took much longer than expected. In the long run, it may have
been wiser to have selected fewer areas of the building project to apply our "sweat" but the results have outweighed the wait and
anguish. The cabinetry for our house included the kitchen, dining area, master suite and 2nd bath. If we build a new house,
I'll stick to building just the cabinetry. Click on the image to view more details on the project.

This Recording Work Station was built for a friends recording studio. It is made primarily of 3/4" Oak plywood with some solid Oak
for the edge banding, feet and speaker stands. The design required a slanted surface for mounting the mixing board,
two cabinets for the recording components, a work surface for the computer station and mounts for two "monitor" speakers.
The station was finished with a Natural stain and semi-gloss polyurethane. Click on the image to view more details on the project.

This was a fun project in that it was a last minute idea. A close friend was having a Birthday party for their daughter and
we were struggling with what to get her. She loves horses and has a collection of figurines but not much shelf space to display
them. I used 3/4" Clear Pine boards and incorporated some scroll work on the shelf brackets and back. Click on the
image to view more details on the project.

I began this project in Oct. of '07 after a good friend saw our kitchen cabinets and asked me to built a counter for his new Sushi restaurant.
It is a "U" shaped counter, measures 15' x 15' and features hand sinks at both corners. The countertops are at two levels, the upper level is for the
sushi coolers and the lower level is the serving counter. There are also prep shelves on the three inside areas for the chefs to perform
their art. All counter surfaces have laminate tops and edges. Click on the image to view more details on the project.
